Ashot Beglaryan: ‘Vardanyan tried everything to make Armenia strong, happy, and independent’

In his column, Armenian writer, journalist, and translator Ashot Beglaryan recalls his meetings with Ruben Vardanyan and talks about the motives that led him to move to Artsakh. According to Beglaryan, the prominent social entrepreneur is a true Armenian patriot, sincerely devoted to his homeland and people.

“Though not a native of Artsakh, he considered this small ancient region to be not only a territory, but rather a sacred place for Armenians, as important root foundations of the Armenian community are concentrated there,” Ashot Beglaryan writes.
