Armenian Assembly condemns Vardanyan’s arrest

Azerbaijan has illegally abducted philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, the Arme-nian Assembly stated. The organization condemned this move from Baku, call-ing the accusations against the public figure absurd.

The Assembly stresses that Vardanyan’s humanitarian contribution is invalu-able for the Armenian world and the international community. He abandoned his normal life and went to Artsakh to facilitate its development and share all hardships of the blockade and war with the residents of the republic.

“We believe that justice will prevail, that Ruben Vardanyan will be free and re-turn to his family soon!” the statement reads.
