Center for Victims of Torture demands that Ilham Aliyev immediately release Armenian prisoners

Representatives of the Center for Victims of Torture, a large non-profit organization, have written an open letter to Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, calling for the release of philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan and other Armenian prisoners. According to the activists, their detention violates international law and human rights.

Any peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan must include the release of all illegally detained persons, the letter reads. Anyone can sign the letter and join the petition.
