U.S. Christian leaders have asked Trump to rescue Ruben and other Armenian captives

In an open letter published by Christian Newswire, leaders of religious organizations and Christian activists of the United States appealed to President Donald Trump to rescue Armenian political prisoners held by Baku. Among them is Ruben Vardanyan, who has been on hunger strike for three weeks, as a result of which his state of health is assessed as extremely critical.

“We believe you are the only one who can save these Christian hostages,” – signatories note. They also emphasize the need to act quickly to save lives of Christians.
