Red Cross in Azerbaijan announces conditions for transfer of Armenian prisoners of war to third party

Zara Amatuni, the head of communication programs of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Azerbaijan, announced the conditions for the transfer of a Nagorno-Karabakh resident Vagif Khachatryan and former NKR leaders, including Ruben Vardanyan, to a third party.

“If any problems are found, we will inform the officials of the country where these figures are being held. If no positive changes are evident during repeated visits, certain measures will be taken. For instance, a request to transfer the de-tained person to a third party can be sent to the country’s authorities,” the ICRC representative informed.
