Noubar Afeyan: “Vardanyan’s arrest is a psychological torture for 10 million Armenians around the world”

Noubar Afeyan, co-founder and head of the Board of Moderna, hopes that international players will not turn a blind eye to the arrest of philanthropist and public figure Ruben Vardanyan.

The businessman called the Azerbaijani side’s accusations against Vardanyan groundless and having “no factual basis.”

“Ruben is a symbol of all Armenians. His arrest and the charges he faces are aimed at subjecting 10 million Armenians around the world to psychological torture. I hope that international players will not stand back, letting injustice and impunity take over. We really need to speak out against this,” Nubar Afeyan said.
