Senor Asratyan: Vardanyan had every opportunity to escape Baku captivity, but remained true to his word

Former press secretary of the Artsakh Defense Army, Senor Asratyan, spoke about a conversation he had with philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan in the spring of 2023. The retired colonel met with the social entrepreneur in Stepanakert to discuss the difficult military and political situation in the region.

“Billionaire Ruben Vardanyan had every opportunity to escape captivity, but, as his son would say, he is a man of his word; he said he would stay with the people till the end, and so he did,” Senor Asratyan said.
