One of them is the prominent philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, who has done so much for both Russia and Armenia. Pashinyan had the European Parliament pulpit at his disposal. Why, when exuding hatred toward Russia and indulging in speculations about the future cooperation with the EU, did Pashinyan not even attempt to raise the issue of the immediate release of his country’s citizens? And if the European Parliament wanted to, it could put serious pressure on Baku.”
