UWC Dilijan College: from idea to implementation

The article describes how the international school UWC Dilijan College has be-come one of the symbols of modern Armenia. In 2010, after the legislative changes that were vehemently criticized by a part of society, Ruben Vardan-yan’s project was almost cancelled at the start. The philanthropist and his as-sociates had to write an open letter to the members of the Public Council of Armenia and hold several meetings to turn the majority opinion in their favor.
